A timeless classic encounters the fascination of the Island of Capri. Delta, one of the few Italian owned companies that still produces writing instruments using old techniques and well into its third decade of activity, has created in collaboration with various Capri institutions a collection of writing instruments named “Capri”. The collection includes two versions based on this Island's classic colors available in two different sizes his and
hers. Marina piccola is offered in a light blue resin and Marina Grande in a dark blue sea color. The writing instruments Marina Grande and Marina piccola are the result of Delta's traditional craftsmanship. Capri writing instruments are made of special resin worked by hand from solid bars and polished to a mirror like surface in colors chosen to match the distinct and characteristic blue hues of this island. All versions are available in fountain pen, roller ball or ballpoint pen.

Marina Piccola are turned by hand form solid bars of a special dark resin in blue and light blue colors. The central ring of the Marina piccolo and Marina grande are also carved by hand and are in 925% solid sterling silver and portrays a classic Icon from Capri. In the cap's extremity a carved plaque offers a replica of the famous timepiece from Capri's main piazza.
Clip: In a special metal alloy particularly elastic, it features a small wheel in the bottom to facilitate its placing in the pocket. It is plated with platinum, a precious and anti-allergic metal.
The Nib: In 14kt gold with a platinum plated mask, ersonalized, elastic and flexible.
Filling system : The Marina piccola accepts a standard cartridge.

Adolphe Sax was born in 1814 in Dinant in the heart of Belgium. His father , a producer of musical instruments, became the official supplier of the Belgian Military Band.
It was in his father factory that Adolphe Sax discovered his passion for music. Sa development the concept of the Saxophone in 1838 and he was so convinced that no one could match his creation that he proceeds to patent it only on 1846.
Sax gave his mane to four families of musical instruments: the Saxhorns, Saxotrombas, The Saxtubas, and of course the Saxophones.
The Special limited edition in Vermeil is offered in 8124 pieces. All these versions offer lateral lever filling system.

The Collection Giacomo Puccini
Giacomo Puccini was born in Lucca in 1858, Italy, into a family with a long history of music. At age 14 he was a church organist and choirmaster, but it was not until he saw a performance of Verdi’s Aida that he became inspired to be an opera composer. He studied at the Milan Conservatory and in 1882 he wrote a one-act opera, Le Villi that caught the attention of Giulio Ricordi, who commissioned a second opera, Edgar (1889). Manon Lescaut (1893), his third opera, was a great success. It launched his remarkable relationship with the librettists Luigi Illica and Giuseppe Giacosa, who collaborated with him on his next three operas: La Boheme (1896), Tosca (1900), Madame Butterfly (1904) Composition was slow after this. In 1910, Puccini completed La fanciulla del West, which he later on thought of as his most powerful opera, and, in 1917, finished the score of La rondine. In 1918, Il Trittico premiered in New York. This work is composed of three one-act operas: a horrific episode (Il Tabarro), in the style of the Parisian Grand Guignol, a sentimental tragedy (Suor Angelica) and a comedy or farce (Gianni Schicchi). Of the three, Gianni Schicchi is the most popular. He died on November 29, 1924. Another composer finished Turandot, his last opera, but when it was performed the orchestra stopped, the performers froze in position and the
conductor turned to the audience and said: “Here the opera finishes, because at this point the Maestro died”.

Body: The body of the Celebration is made of a combination of splendid ivory and ruby-red resins and offers a large ring in 18 kt solid gold enriched with 7 rubies and 6 diamonds. An 18 kt solid gold sleeve covers the ruby-red resin cap.
Clip: The clip made of a special elastic metal alloy to facilitate the position into the pocket. In the Celebration version it is decorated with a sterling silver plaque enriched with 2 rubies and 1 diamond.
