The Papillon limited editions CELLULOID Limited to only 300 fountain pens in celluloid- Hundred (100) in each of the following colours of celluloid: diamond black , emerald green and ruby red. Pens in each variant are numbered from 1-100. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS Cap : Hand turned from solid bars of celluloid in the celebration and celluloid versions. In the celebration version depending on version a Diamond, an Emerald or a Ruby is positioned in the top of cap. Cap Ring : The ring of the cap is in solid 18kt gold in the Celebration version and in 925‰ sterling silver in the remaining versions. The ring is engraved by hand and reproduces an old Roman decor featured in old paintings found in the ruined city of Pompei. Body : Hand turned from solid bars of celluloid in the celebration and celluloid versions. Clip : in special elastic metal alloy, equipped with a small rolling wheel to facilitate sliding in and out of the breast pocket. Is gold plated for the celebration and celluloid versions. Nib : Specially designed is in 18 kt gold nib in the celebration and celluloid versions. All Papillon fountain pens are offered with a converter or cartridge filling system.
