Israel 1K offers 1948 fountain pens (1K) with trimmings in sterling silver with aged finish. The 1K feature a converter or cartridge (threaded) filling system .Technical characteristics : The collection is hand turned from solid bars of blue and black resin. All pens feature in the top of the cap a medal featuring the Samech, the fifteen letter of Hebrew alphabet, which represents the number 60. The central ring in solid sterling silver 925‰(18 kt solid gold in celebration) is engraved with the Menorah, official symbol of the state of Israel. The menorah is a seven-branched candelabrum lit by olive oil in the temple of Jerusalem together with two branches of olive tree synonym of peace and friendship between peoples. A special thread is featured which allows the lateral lever to be perfectly aligned with clip when cap is screwed in place if starting aligned.
